The fact that people aren't fighting harder to let Ethiopia control their own water supply while the country continues to suffer from famine and drought is mind boggling to me.
On top of that, a dam built over these waters could provide electricity to millions as well as help the economy grow tremendously.
Some of what I read stated that Egypt opposed the dams and irrigation because it would have a negative affect on their tourism economy.
