Not really most of the world is rather homogenous, less so than it was then but you get the idea. If it weren't for colonialism we would all be split up still to a great extent I would imagine.

Anyways this is pretty lazy but the pictures of Berbers you see painted from back when are the same as they look today.

I usually stay away from the Berbers are black threads... because I really don't know. I would guess that they were dark brown and black. The only thing we know for sure is that up until relatively recently most people in North Africa were black. IF We chose to deny any trace of their blackness' and become fully invested in the systematic white washing of history then I will state on here that all evidence shows that the origins of these people are from the Scandinavian area.

Regardless, the people doing the enslaving weren't what interested me in this particular story.

I just don't believe that's the case here. I mean some surely are black in more southern countries(Mali) if I remember correctly, I wrote a brief on it during the Mali intervention the majority in North Africa aren't and are distinguishable.
