You need to have an Qobuz account in order to download?
Yes, but nothing is hypothetically stopping someone from downloading everything they want in the 3 month trial period or whatever deal they have for new users. Somebody could get like 10tb of music in that time, or so I’ve heard.

I like vinyl if I wanna listen to quality. I’m okay with what I pay for all the access
People rip vinyl with high-end turntables and equipment nowadays. I have some great albums in 24/192 vinyl rips. It definitely sounds smoother than fully digital 24/96

These weirdos are like machines, they think it's either you listen to CD/Vinyl or you stream. Like one loses their ability to steal music like they do or go on Amazon cause one also can afford to pay 10 bucks for the ease, playlists, podcasts and whatnot.

It's like talking to Rain man type of people sometimes :mindblown:

"How can you have airpods instead of these 3 pound sennheisers??" "Why are you buying a small bag instead of a suitcase?" I mean it's impossible to have both

Yup. That’s where Roon comes into play. It puts all of your locally stored (i.e. downloaded albums) in the same interface as your Tidal or Quobuz account. Like if you search “Curren$y,” Roon will show you your downloaded albums and also what Tidal has in their catalog. It does cost money to use, but the user experience is definitely worth it in my opinion.

I primarily use Spotify, but I still grab everything in FLAC when possible. Almost at 2 terabytes.

No one is selling physical media anymore. The old download sites have been sniped or seized by the Feds. You want an artist's library without having to dig, then Spotify it is.
this is wrong.. Amazon and sites like Getondown are still selling cds and vinyl lol. Plus the feds haven't seized everything. I have been going to the same 2 sites for music for years. ! of them I've been using for 20 years. And then you have blogspots. I actually still buy cd and vinyl because not much comes out that I want to hear anyway. I just like reading inserts. I get pissed when the inserts are bs

I talked all that shyt and I’m back to Apple Music :russ:

They got out of print cds I love like Ghetty Green and Mista Don’t Play. Imagine buying those albums used for $60 a pop. :mjlol:

What I said about sound quality still stands tho CD and Vinyl is better sounding.
You have to find stores in your area that sells old stuff that includes music and movies. I bought a couple No Limit albums in the original packaging that are hard to find for under 10 dollars. I got that fiend in the original red case. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. This white dude has a little shop in Columbia SC that sold old shyt.. a friend put me on. Dude was selling vinyl for a dollar and dude didn’t know what he had at all.. so many classics! The only problem was he just threw them bytches in boxes and a lot of albums got trashed in the process. You won big time if you found something worth playing though. The albums I remember finding that I could use were

Society of soul-brainchild

Jay Z-blueprint l(blue pressing)only one out of two albums though

Def Jam Red Souds

Ray J- Raydiation(sold it and made 10 bucks)

hidden beach recordings unwrapped

various singles like Erykah Badu Danger, Nas Bridging the gap, Bounce by Miracle, etc. all for 1 dollar each. I take joy in finding good music and not spending a lot on it.
