100% this. Military industrial complex (who have the same owners as mainstream media outlets) are not happy at all about Biden’s withdrawal. They're not just in Kabul. Afghanistan is the size of Texas for those that are not aware. Also, the Embassy was still hiring as of August 14th. The messaging from the State Department has been inconsistent.

All of this is happening under his Presidency, so people are going to try and use it against him whether it's fair or not. That's usually how it goes when these type of situations happen.

You're going to have some people arguing why are you trying to get other citizens out of there without making sure that your own was safe first.

You're right unfortunately. The media war hawks will be all over this . Ironically the evacuation has been extremely successful so far yet the media wont highlight this.

I used to be heavy into politics when I was in my early 20's...it only takes one situation like this to destroy a presidency.

It's going to be a stain on his presidency as people don't forget these type of situations and you know that the Republicans are going to use it as ammunition against him.
