They view themselves as tribe members, not a nation which is what the Americans failed to realize when they stayed to nation build after they leveled the Taliban in the initial months in 2001. It's 50 tribes with three major tribes. They are very medieval in structure.
Not sure why this would hurt Biden. The media will paint it that way as if there hasn't been any violence in 20 years of war.
Biden should come out a reiterate the importance of leaving. Ironically both ISIS and US War Hawks have a vested interest in keeping boots on the ground.
I honestly didn't think so as it's still too many people there and too much going on for them to have gotten everyone out of there with no issues whatsoever.

The Republicans are licking their chops to use the deaths of ppl they don't give af about against the Democrats.
All of this is happening under his Presidency, so people are going to try and use it against him whether it's fair or not. That's usually how it goes when these type of situations happen.
You're going to have some people arguing why are you trying to get other citizens out of there without making sure that your own was safe first.
Why didn't they evacuate last week or the week before?
They're trying to, but it's US citizens scattered all across the area and country. They're literally telling a lot of them to essentially send a beacon and wait for safety to get there.
