I care about black marines as much as I do black cops, which is to say not at all. I’m supposed to concern myself with the possible loss of black marines who willfully acted in the service of a imperialistic war machine that has wrought untold carnage on non-white countries for the purpose of maintaining an economically unjust system that solely benefits a small minority of white men?

Seriously?

Yeah but the way Biden chose just doesn’t make logical sense . Atleast if the opposite happened he could pin the shyt on Trump. He can’t pin the way he did it on anyone but himself

That’s how drawdowns/base closings work. You get non-essentials personnel out. Everyone else gets broken down into groups that leave in waves. Otherwise you’re stuck.

I think you’re under the impression that there are a few hundred personnel on ground holding their own. There are enough soldiers, marines, aircraft on station/ready to go. This isn’t including all the other countries’ service members, all still armed. Everyone is aware that IS was interested but suicide bombers are most terrifying in crowds because you don’t see them coming.

What’s happening now was always going to happen and it’s as under control as you could ever see, considering the circumstances and the stupid ass “deal” made last year. This is the only balance between protecting personnel and getting people. If the Taliban wants this to run smoothly they need to get back to killing isis-k.

If you they didn’t value those citizens and contractors you tell them straight up if you don’t leave by this date you’re assed out on their own and we not coming back .
But that isn’t what happened . The fact that they threw more troops in to get them out screams to me that they miscalculated some shyt and messed up .

Doesn’t matter if those personnel was on the first plane out ..they shouldn’t have been left behind to begin with. That points to the issue right there

It does matter because that's not the reason we're still there. If we had to go back for only 2-300 people, mission would've been accomplished by now. Obviously they value the citizens and contractors because they're American citizens at the end of the day. The optics of just leaving them there to fend for themselves wouldn't have been good either way.

So even though they were told to leave its still US fault for not getting them out of there?:gucci:
If it’s a forced evacuation and they stay in Kabul
That’s on them.

BUT

the US told them Kabul would be safe for 2-3 months..it collapsed in 2-3 days

If you told them that they were assed
Out you don’t come back with thousands of troops just to get those same people out.

The fact that this happened shows that some shyt was miscalculated . No way that was a mandatory American evacuation if they still had Americans in the embassy after they took troops out. That’s the shyt that throws all that over stuff out the window

Just leave. Cacs wanted to be in the countryside with these barbarians that’s there issue. You not going to evacuate them. They can’t get to the airport. It’s over. We already showed our hands and al queda/isis about to feast

You stupid if you think Americans are gonna be abandoned. We would go to war before that happens.

Of course that's not going to happen tho. Every American is gonna get out, even if the Biden administration has to make an agreement with taliban (which is what's been happening behind closed doors anyway).

This actually puts the taliban on the defensive and I bet you it stops that big talk they were doing last week about the deadline not being extended. They know how terrible it looks for this to be happening on their watch and I wouldn't be surprised if they start welcoming a certain number of American soldiers on the streets to help with security at least until all American citizens are out of the country.

Taliban doesn't want Americans dying in Afghanistan any more than we do. They want complete control of the country and they want the US out of there as quickly as possible.

If the narrative was “hey we told them to get out ,they refused so we left behind” that would be one thing .Would the optics be perfect ? Naw. But the situation now has American servicemen dead . That’s wayyyyy beyond bad optics

How many Americans killed in the last 20 years in Afghanistan? And we all of a sudden care about the 4 now? Is it oochie Wally or is it one mic? :unimpressed:

We should be asking you and those like you the exact same thing.
:patrice:

Exactly, these people are so fukking ridiculous

That’s the problem with you disingenuous “I’m a loyal Democrat/Liberal” negroes. If this shyt had happened under Trump’s presidency, you clowns would rightfully want his head. All hell would break loose.
:mjlol:

But since it’s Joe Biden in office, you idiots are like…

You negroes can NOT be taken seriously.
