What do y'all do?

I used to do 4 sets of every exercise but lately I do 1, 2 at the most

What I like about it so far is it cuts my workout time down

I work a full-time job so the quicker I can get done with a workout, the better

But what y'all think? I'm not gonna mess up my gains am I?

Multiple sets, obviously.

This is a weird question.

Are you really doing like, a single 20-rep "set" and calling it good?

:dwillhuh: My 6-8 rep weight would be completely different from a 20 rep set let alone a 100 rep set.

I've been doing 400 rep workouts starting with BP. Please believe that's at 135. The goal is for it to be timed so it's a little different.

You should never do more then 10 reps for any major lifts. altho that might be really pushing it for lifts like deadlifts and Bench press.

I'm in the same boat as you because of my job I workout at 1am; I get in and get out. I use to do 4 sets; but it's the quality of your reps. If you do shytty reps with bad form you ain't doint shyt but waisting time.

If you do 2 set with 12 reps with good rep it beats doing 4 sets with 10 reps and bad form. You still can make gains with 1 set; that's what power lifting is. Just keep adding weight for your set; for example if you do 2 sets of bench, your first set do 225 for 12 reps and add some nickels and do 1 more set at 235 for 10 to 12 reps. Your still making gains.

Sure he meant sets

Na I meant major lifts like bench squat, deadlift and Overhead Press IMO shouldn't be done more then 10 reps unless you are really experienced and know what you're doing. I didn't mean to generalize the term major lifts Tho.
