Why are people so goddamned stupid? :mindblown:

I mean, I don't like the policing of mask-wearing habits either (wrestling fans are seriously going a little overboard with this shyt, to the point that bad choices by talent can apparently invalidate any legitimate criticism of the promotion's testing protocols. Shows how much they really care about the wrestlers's welfare...) but I still wear one because, you know, I like having well-functioning lungs. Also, I live in THE hotspot for COVID in America right now, so I'd be doubly stupid to not wear one.

It's like he doesn't realize that fighting a pandemic is a collective effort, as exemplified by literally every pandemic in human history.

If anything, it's people like him that are being ruled by fear: Fear of a world that doesn't cater to their sensibilities or the sensibilities of consumer capitalism. fukk off with this nonsense; a lot of people have been showing their ass over the past 3-4 months.

It's fukking baffling all these "I'll get sick if I want to" fukkos don't understand that wearing mask is to prevent YOU from getting OTHER people sick, not the other way around. Just the height of selfishness. If everyone wears a mask, the virus doesn't spread, the hospital system doesn't buckle under the weight of so many cases at once, and we can resume normal life. But these people refusing to wear a mask because MUH RIGHTS and BUT THE CONSTITUTION are just prolonging the suffering for fukking everyone and making this last longer. There's a fukking reason why the EU and US had the same spike and the EU actually flattened the curve and can safely open up and the US is now WORSE than we were before the lockdowns and first peak.

And the thing is....this exact fukking thing happened with the Spanish Flu. We have the data. People were wearing masks. Businesses shut down. Sports were cancelled. The curve started to go down a tiny bit and then everyone said fukk it this is over, opened back up, second wave immediately hit and was worse than the first. It's not like we're talking the bubonic plague times. This was 100 years ago. There are pictures of this shyt.

I'd be thinking long and hard about staying with WWE if I'm Renee. I know that was her dream job but they need her more than she needs them. Obviously she has a spot in AEW but also can easily get a gig at a real sports network, move into podcast/TV host stuff.

At my job some guy had flu like symptoms n they made him stay home for 2 weeks. And everyone had to sign a paper sayn we cant discuss people health issues aka sayn they have corona of not

His boss didnt call him the next day n see if he feels better...

WWE is continuing to move ahead with filming new episodes of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT this week with three days of taping planned according to a report by Post Wrestling.

Wednesday, July 1st: Two weeks of The Great American Bash episodes will be filmed. Wednesday's will air that night with the other episode airing the following week.

Thursday, July 2nd: The July 3rd and July 10th SmackDowns will be filmed in addition to 205 Live.

Friday, July 3rd: The July 6th and July 10th episodes of Raw will be filmed in addition to WWE Main Event and Raw Talk.
This Monday's Raw was filmed earlier Saturday at the Performance Center. Post also reported that two additional NXT episodes that were to be filmed Thursday are now off.

The changes come as WWE deals with a slew of positive COVID-19 tests that already required some postponements. Several producers and broadcasters (Renee Young, Kayla Braxton, Adam Pearce, and Jamie Noble) have publicly said they tested positive
