I agree....I think it could be done, just needs more crafting and subtlety, rather then the 'kill of the week', I saw with 'Scream', and 'Slasher'. Plus, as I was referencing in the other post, the aftermath of savage killings upon your closest friends and family, and these people are still going about their days...Also, the convoluted, absurdly complex methods of killing and torture, which further strain much believability. It doesn't have to represent reality, but since it would be incredibly difficult to kill your classmates and friends, routinely, stalking and hunting them down, without being caught, wouldn't that just as interesting and compelling tv? Did you see 'Slasher'? Very similar to 'Scream', I stopped watching after I mistakenly read who the killer was...which was about as cliched and tired as you can get.
