i was late to that one but it was some straight up and down cheesy slasher shyt
it wasnt all that
but it was pretty entertaining

Scream queens was a fun parody and satire while also being really violent lol. I fukk with it. It had its moments where it bored the hell out of me but for the most part, to quote hades, two thumbs way up

Nice continuation of the previous season...and gotta rewatch parts of the first one to see the connections to the this season's killer...but it makes some sense given the feats performed in both seasons.

Like the series, at some point you can't suspend disbelief regarding the amount of carnage one person, or group of friends and family can endure, and still walk around trading pop culture references and meme humor.....I'd love a 'Scream', or slasher series that went really dark with it....Imagining these people and the emotional toll that would really take on someone.

The trailer for the Halloween special looks like it might be alright.
The show though is a mess. I have realized after watching several attempts at making a slasher horror TV show that the slasher genre just doesn't work when it is stretched over 10 or so hour long episodes. This genre works in 2 hour installments because it is too hard to watch characters week after week behaving as stupidly as they need to in order to become slasher victims.

I agree....I think it could be done, just needs more crafting and subtlety, rather then the 'kill of the week', I saw with 'Scream', and 'Slasher'. Plus, as I was referencing in the other post, the aftermath of savage killings upon your closest friends and family, and these people are still going about their days...Also, the convoluted, absurdly complex methods of killing and torture, which further strain much believability. It doesn't have to represent reality, but since it would be incredibly difficult to kill your classmates and friends, routinely, stalking and hunting them down, without being caught, wouldn't that just as interesting and compelling tv? Did you see 'Slasher'? Very similar to 'Scream', I stopped watching after I mistakenly read who the killer was...which was about as cliched and tired as you can get.
