Breh the dialogue on this show is staring to irk me lol
Yall are actually watching this? Any good?
It's not painfully bad but it is not really all that good either. It has some interesting parts to it that have potential though. Is this good? The trailers looked ridiculously bad.
Is it even scary breh? It's not painfully bad but it is not really all that good either. It has some interesting parts to it that have potential though.
But the acting is pretty much bad from top to bottom, the pacing is off and the writing could be much better.
Nah but I never found the actual Scream movies scary either. Is it even scary breh?
Man this shyt more drama than horror. Nobody wanna see this soap opera shyt. The mass text the faq kids just got tho
I liked this more then I thought....Of course it has the common flaws of being WAY too overdone in terms of style and set design, almost all gloss and sheen, and no real grit or verisimilitude to ground it for the viewer who doesn't happen to live in a smart house mansion complete with voice command, and interior design to the tune of 3/4 a million dollars. It's hard to relate to characters or invest in a show which feels so overly glamorized. I'm not asking for a 'Scream' set in the slums, though thats an interesting concept in itself, but bring it down to a middle class level, with some slight degree of believability.
Also, as difficult as it appears to be for filmakers or tv series to accurately portray high school, even considering as subjective experience as it is, it would go a long way to create an even marginally more accurate portrayal. The parties, the school conversations, none of it rings really true. Granted, it is hard to do this. How kids actually talk is one of the more difficult things to pin down.
So, what I did like was the dialogue, (as it related to 'Scream') was self aware and smart enough, and the kids were well acted to an acceptable degree. I like the potential relationship between Randy and the Asian girl, for lack of remembering her name. It's more worthy then the last 'Scream' installment, which says a lot. Or maybe it doesn't. Either way, it is more then passable entertainment for a longtime fan of the original and slasher horror in general. I don't think it approaches greatness or true horror, but it does well enough with the material. From what is a great but preposterous set up. The original isn't really believable from a realism perspective, but it sells the hell out of it's best ideas, deranged teens, horror movies, self aware victims As the series progressed, it's gets to be a bit much, finally crashing down in 'Scream 4', where I am supposed to believe an 18 year old girl who weighs 90 pounds can stick a knife through a 4 inch door and sever a mans head, shedding costumes and sneaking around, etc, etc. This will be more of that, but hopefully better done.
This bytch an idiot, horror movie 101 shyt here

Killing the Asian broad so early was dumb. She is currently the most likable female character on a show full of totally forgettable female characters. They should have offed the white chick who is fukking her teacher because she is supposed to be the "slutty/mean girl" archetype but she is not good at it at all.
All these points are what [dare I say it] makes this show great. There's a reason why it's based on a satire. It's not painfully bad but it is not really all that good either. It has some interesting parts to it that have potential though.

We don't know who the killer is.Show has lost appeal after finding out the killer already to me
I am not seeing or feeling the satirical vibe that the movies had with the TV show. This is pretty much a straightforward teen drama with murders thrown in. It's a more violent Pretty Little Liars. All these points are what [dare I say it] makes this show great. There's a reason why it's based on a satire.
how do you feel it is it compared to Vampire diaries, I Vampire Diaries/originals is smarter to me, Kevin Williamson started on that before he forced out by Julie Plec, the pilot episode was literally Dawson's Creek with VampiresI am not seeing or feeling the satirical vibe that the movies had with the TV show. The first 2 seasons of TVD were great and you can tell how the quality of the show dropped when Plec took over and allowed her obsession with the Damon/Elena couple to dominate the storytelling of the show.how do you feel it is it compared to Vampire diaries, I Vampire Diaries/originals is smarter to me, Kevin Williamson started on that before he forced out by Julie Plec, the pilot episode was literally Dawson's Creek with Vampires
