Big fan of Kamala's theme. I found myself anticipating when it would pop how and under what circumstances. Seeing as she's a huge Avengers fan, I hope we get her theme mixed into the The Avengers theme like what was done in Spidey's first two movies. His theme flows perfectly into the Avengers theme, and I can hear how her's does too. I hope to see her and Spider-Man interacting in the future cuz there's only a year difference between them.

This show makes me want to play The Avengers game now. I only played the first 20 minutes. I put it down when I moved and didn't pick it back up. Props to Imani Vellani for her performance and likability.

Also, they had Kamran walking around like Soldier Boy with a bomb in his chest and unable to control his power.

They start causing traumatic events by accidents
the mcu is also starting to hate most of the heroes too they’re planting the seeds slowly

maybe but tony has murals everywhere, cap is a national hero, people want selfies with thor and despite hulk smashing up city after city children were dabbing with smart-him in endgame.

The justification will be that they were BORN that way instead of turned.

then that's different definitions then isn't it ....

mutants are "born that way" and are different to mutates, enhanced etc.

OP said having different definitions makes no sense ... maybe read the thread before writing para.graphs.

mutants will be hated.

the others, not so much.

they have to find some justification for the mutants being hated more than inhumans or mutates (and other heroes).

if they lump them all together then the x-men will not be the comic book x-men in this very important defnining respect.

that sense of mutants being distinct, uncontrollable, dangerous, super evolved humans ready to damage (us and our children) or even supplant the rest of mankind is what sets common people against them.

"we are the f\uture, not them"

Pretty sure Marvel don't give 2 fukks a out the inhumane he decent my they made black bolt cannon fodder in M.O.M

No, actually it's not.

Hulk (it's like I was born for this) survived the gamma radiation that would have left 99% of the population looking like creamed corn.

Monica was warned about her DNA changing after being in Wanda's hex...people were expecting Darcy to get some kinda powers when the same happened to her? Why not?

Because she was born with the capacity for mutation. Doesn't matter if the hex or the snap set it off, if others are largely unaffected, the ones that are were born with the capacity to mutate.

Having different defintions in the MCU is redundant.

If you establish that the celestials (and possibly the high evolutionary) tamper with the life forms on the planets they seed, there is no real reason to split hairs between Inhumans, mutants and mutates as they are all a result of genetic engineering.

sorry but I am a bit lost here.

the x-men are forced to be outsiders. the avengers are not.

so some reason must exist to differentiate them.

IFF we throw away the reason used in the comics what do you suggest we replace it with?

nothing?

"If you establish that the celestials (and possibly the high evolutionary) tamper with the life forms on the planets they seed, there is no real reason to split hairs between Inhumans, mutants and mutates as they are all a result of genetic engineering."

utter rot. firstly marvel comics, the source material, splits them out.

secondly ancient history and religion and personal belief conflate. take a look around you.

the average person on earth 616 is no more looking at millennia old celestial tampering meaining "we are all the same" to guide their behaviour than mankind now is looking at contemporary science telling us "we are all the same" to guide their behaviour today. put another way science saying "we are all the same we are all from africa" does not guide human behaviour.

humans react to percieved group differences in the here and now. humans react to percieved dangers in the here and now. then they attribute these to percieved differences (whether scientific or not) in the here and now. they don't let prehistoric-history get in the way of that.

iff humans writ-large took cultural hints from science then we would be looking at a far more rational world wouldn't we? people don't let ancient facts get in the way of their prejudices today.

mutation.

it is not redudant because heroes/villians are problems BUT many think that homo-superior will wipe humans out.

super villains might attack the city but they are not going to be using their powers against your children in school.

you might be ok with spiderman or thor but do you want mutants in your child's school that can see through walls? that can read your child's mind? that might injure or kill them?

that fear in and off itself is why xavier ran a school in the first place.

mutants are the unseen enemy in your school, in your family that might turn against you at any point and that will eventually wipe out humans.

it is genetic hatred that drives that, just as it drives racism today.

people can handle different species and special cases.

they cannot handle a massed (percived) enemy within.

that is what the x-men lore is all about.
