Stop playing man. After the GOT final season, none of my 3 personalities can handle another botched final.

I think they messed up a bit by having Price say that White Rose invented the Internet (assuming that we believe him).
The internet is probably the greatest technological change since the atomic bomb. Yet, they're saying that White Rose created the internet as just one step leading up to the creation of his machine. So, whatever his machine turns out to be will probably be anticlimactic (e.g. there is no machine at all, its all lies) or unbelievable Sci Fi superscience (Time Travel, Parallel Universes, etc.) It's the kind of problem that 24 always had. How can the end of a season top what has already happened, if nuclear bombs already went off half way through the day?

I actually suspect its some kind of super AI capable of running The Matrix, and either the world we're seeing on the show is a simulation, or they will imply that the show's world is the *real* world, and OUR world is the Matrix that White Rose created.

If they're going that way, I'm not so sure how I feel about that.

No, what I'm saying is that the only way to step up from the Internet might be to step up so high you're in Sci Fi fantasy territory. The show might go from "Techno Thriller", past "Hard Sci Fi", and straight into Comic Book science if they start getting into time travel or parallel worlds.

It's hard to imagine a show changing so radically, so I'm thinking the machine is either a total red herring, or it relates to AI/Transhumanism/Virtual worlds.

I mean, they didn't say he sat down at a computer and invented it, but that he was a driving force behind it as a way to gain even more information.

I'm also thinking that whatever White Rose did that killed Mr Robot also (intentionally or unintentionally) put this stuff into Elliot's head. Some kind of electromagnetic signal.

The name of the group pulling the strings is called Deus Group.

In its most literal interpretation, this is when a godlike figure or power, with all the convenient power that comes with that, arrives to solve the problem.

“Back to the Future” references with Elliot and his pops, and Elliot with Trenton’s kid brother.

whiterose telling Angela that she is going to bring back her deceased mom one day.

Conclusion: The device is a time machine.

It makes more sense for it being a time machine than anything else.

Brehs just dont want it to veer into the sci-fi territory but it's been slowly prepping us for the big reveal the whole time.

Saw a theory that elliot's dad was actually a pedo who abused Darlene. There are many references to the book lolita in the show that reference this. Darlene's screen name is Dolores haze, who was the abused girl in the book.


This would be a very shocking turn of events. Maybe it's his dad or hell, possibly his mom that abused darlene
