I didn't say they pioneered it, I'm saying they influenced this particular show

Yeah but those are extremely vague things to claim influenced this show. It's not as if "The Sopranos" was the first show to feature dream sequences.

And Vera is nothing like Tuco.

Now if you want to say Tyrell was influenced by Patrick from "American Psycho", that's different.

those dream sequences were a big part of the show
what exactly was the point of the vera storyline?
tyrell does remind me of a character, but I can't remember who :ohhh: it is funny you mention American Psycho, cuz when I was talking about this show with a friend I mentioned it. this was right after watching the 1st episode

eh.. its not bad. Way better than that show Complications (cant believe they compared this garbage show to Burn Notice :scust: if they renewed Complications for a season 2 id be surprised :scust: )

something about Mr Robot where the show starts slow but by the 30 minute mark it ends up getting really good.. but EVERY episode I seen ( I seen 5 of the 8 I believe) it was a struggle for me to make it to half way through the show mark

I watched Breaking Bad late, on Netflix when all the seasons was on there. But I was hooked immediately :wow:

same here. I'm on episode 6 and this shyt so far is overrated as fukk except for the 1st episode. I already stopped one time watching, now I'm back to catch up

but you can see how this show is trying to be some type of mix between dexter, breaking bad, sopranos, and fight club. like the second episode, they were already having tony soprano like dream sequences, they have the latino drug dealer aka the fake tuco from breaking bad.

none of the other storylines are even interesting.

so far, I'm not impressed.

STICK TO MICHAEL BAY MOVIES :camby:

THIS shyt IS :ohlawd:

BEST SHOW ON TV CURRENTLY BREHS :ahh:

Currently the best show on TV imo. Nothing else has me waiting to cop a torrent more than Mr. Robot. :whew:

I might check this out, but I'm more interested in the top 1% of the top 1%, I hope its like the Wire or 24, where the good guys and the villains get equal billing.

The thing they do very well is blur reality and so you don't know whats real. We're 8 episodes in and I have no idea if Elliot is even a real person and I can't think of a show in recent memory that has done that. On the note of successors to those shows I would say 'Rectify' is by far the best show of the last few years and it hardly gets any interest.
