Like I said in another thread, critics killed it but the Counselor is a damn good movie if you excuse the literary dialogue...the story, acting, and atmosphere are excellent...its just the dialogue that turns people off...that story will send chills down your spine because to be honest, it can happen to anyone in any line of work at anytime...if you've seen it, you know what I mean...life is chance..Many people stan Black Swan man.
For me, I think The Counselor is great
I stan pretty much any movie Nicholas Cage does. He ain't the best actor but hell he entertains me
I wouldn't want it without the literary dialogue. That's what sets it apartLike I said in another thread, critics killed it but the Counselor is a damn good movie if you excuse the literary dialogue...the story, acting, and atmosphere are excellent...its just the dialogue that turns people off...that story will send chills down your spine because to be honest, it can happen to anyone in any line of work at anytime...if you've seen it, you know what I mean...life is chance..
My brother.
Anyways,
War of the Worlds (Spielberg one)
Prometheus
Watchmen
Sucker Punch
Hulk (Ang Lee)
Tank Girl
Anything Peter Berg does. The Kingdom, The Rundown, Hancock, etc. Haven't seen Battleship though.
visuals were dope but hated it as a movieOnly God Forgives, that's probably the most recent example I can think of, especially because it was literally hated by audiences and critics alike.
I can't say I stan for this....but I really like it and think it's incredibly original. It's by far the most auteurist take on a comic book film. The editing is so fukking cool.
