Yeah I remember watching Toy Story and being like this shyt looks weird, same with that Power Rangers.Breh I was an 8 yr old when that movie came out and I liked a lot of garbo along with the piff apparently. That movie came out the same year as Toy Story I don't remember which one I saw first but the CG from Toy Story at the time should have had me
at so of the many shyt I used to watch back then like Beast Wars, War Planets (aka Shadow Raiders), Reboot, and the Quest world segments in Real Adventures of Johnny Quest but I liked them shyts back.
Beast Wars looked passable as in not terrible, but it was still weird looking to me.
I hated 3d animation back then because it was so ugly to me compared to 2d animation done right.
I don't think it was until THe Spirit Within that I thought 3d animation could be legit good
I lose it every time Fisher Stevens scene with the skateboard pops upI have a complete and total unironic love of Hackers.
That shyt has aged like fukking milk.
I think the datedness adds to the charm on current day rewatches, though.
He couldn't just walk up and grab the floppy he had to use the skateboard and he struggling trying to balance himself going slow as fukk.
