wtf?And I don't think I ever rewatch a dramatic movie. especially a straightforward drama. what's the point? A movie basically needs comedy involved in order to be rewatchable.

I like to go back everyone in a while and see if i can spot clues to the twist. I watch Fight Club every once ina while and i'm :ohh: when i catch new stuff.
Movies that are one and done for me are stuff like schindlers list, mystic river, those depressing ass movies.
12 years yeah I can't watch that. Glory however is a great film with great performances and classic scenes. One of my favorites.12 years a slave
Passion of the Christ
Glory
Most biopics
Requiem for a dream
Wolf of Wall Street
The Departed
Chiraq
a history of violence
Na, man, AHOV dragged on, and I rarely say that about flicks. The Green Room....
Cool enough for what it was trying to do, not gonna re-peep ever again though.
Naw breh, coincidentally, I recently rewatched both this (2005) and Cronenberg's other mid-00 crime drama starring Viggo Mortensen with a twist...Eastern Promises (2007). Both held up well, knowing what's coming actually makes the rewatch funner because you're searching for tells.
Having said that, Eastern Promises is more satisfying in pretty much every way. And that's saying a lot because I hold A History Of Violence in high acclaim. EP is just more complex and nuanced in pretty much all areas.
Nolan movies. This is his niche.

It's cool breh. Different strokes and all.Na, man, AHOV dragged on, and I rarely say that about flicks.
I couldn't get into it. I'll try again in the future.
