Bingo. Dumbass Execs not in tune with today's tech and society. :mjlol:
Yeah they are. Not everyone has a jailbroken fire stick or even wants one. A lot of people are still shook to download shyt. This is a smart move for a family flick or even a horror flick for the fans who want to support. And the horror community is known for supporting shyt like this and rewarding the content creators.

My best friend is the same age as me and he’s awful with technology. Straight up awful. Even when I’ve hooked him up he’s still awful :russ:
Something like this is perfect for him. If a ticket is $12 or more, this $19 covers the ticket plus the cost of gas to get to the theater and he can eat his own damn food

Should've just made some kind of deal with Netflix for this. Netflix is gonna eat off this pandemic so they could afford to drop some extra coin on exclusive releases like this to prop themselves up. Especially with Disney dropping Rise Of Skywalker and Frozen 2 on Disney+ much faster as well.

That was overblown. Star wars was like a day early a day though frozen 2 was 3 months. June would have been 7 months post theatrical. Which is absurd in this Era. Things hit in 3 months or even less.[/QUOTE]

Disney knows them impatient ass kids will force their parents to buy the blu-ray for a movie that comes out on streaming months later, that's why they curve their films like that. That's their business model but with retailers shutting down and people not going out to buy unnecessary things Disney moved to the next most sustainable business model for the current situation.

Universal can pull this specific move because the films mentioned don't cost shyt so they're not reliant on box office revenue like a Disney production is. Although with the current BO numbers Onward is putting up expect Disney to act on that one ASAP as well with a similar approach.
