He was in the Sag Harbor documentary talking about how the younger generation of black people in that area of the Hamptons sold their family homes to white people, and said they were trying to be a a part of something else, instead of maintaining what they had. He wanted to keep the home prices affordable so black families would have a place their kids could walk down the street in a hoodie, and not be harassed.
Caring for someone with Alzheimer's is very difficult and can take a significant toll on the caregivers. I cant blame him for wanting some emotional support while watching the person you love fade away. But his choice is rather suspect. I guess go big or go home.
I don't blame him, I mean..a man's got needs. You can't live your life in misery and isolation because your marriage is deceased. Now he needs to divorce her and be her caretaker.
