It wasn't the men that were targeted, but the women. The men were to be removed from Black families by Federal Mandate and the easiest way to do so was to get the women to depend on the Government rather than Black men. In 1960, 22% of Black children were raised in single-parent homes. Fast-forward 50+ years and we see that number is now greater than 70%. I'm not in any way saying that Black men are/were irresponsible animals. That's a strawman.

I'm saying that Black women were, in fact, incentivized, to abandon us Black men and depend on the Government. Black men were encouraged to go along with it because they had no power to change the social order imposed on them by the society they were in. There was no unity since Black family/community bonds had been destroyed for decades.

None of that, however, has ANYTHING to do with the foul situation in this thread. The Black woman in THIS THREAD didn't abandon her husband and he has NO excuse for his actions. He's just plain selfish.​
