Alot of cacs like this overrated film and borderline idolize the main fakkit character. We gettin closer and closer to shyt like this....
anybody who didn't find this guy anything but deplorable might be an idiot. But that was the point of his character..Kubrick film and the author of the book amplified the fear crackers had of the youth in the 60's and 70's.
Also we already in the middle of this movie. Dude was a piece of shyt sent to jail then used as an asset to further someone else's goals. Something that's been happening forever. It's about having too much free will then removing all of it with no middle ground. Which could be pointed to a thousand things today.
The extreme visuals were to make a point just like all of his films. The guy rarely wastes a frame story telling wise, which is why he basically almost killed every actor he worked with. Alfred Hitchcock was the same way
