Alot of people don't even have 10K saved up. nobody is saying she's suppose to survive off 13k-17K, but its more than enough to move. I hate to say this, but a big expense of her's is gone now. She doesn't have to provide for her son anymore.
You can have a fam or friends do that and if the church raised up the money like that then I'm sure she could've reached out to them for a place, someone with a place or to help look for a place
It's not hard to get an apartment out here all the person usually needs is a person with income and that doesn't have an eviction on their credit and that's with 0 deposit oustide of first months rent
