Breh, stfu. It’s clearly other cars on that street that were closer and can mute the noise of the other car, and at that speed there’s nothing you can do to avoid being hit when you look to see what the sound is.

I don't care if I look crazy to other people when I look both ways 4-6 times as I cross a single lane street, cause you can literally lose your life in the blink of an eye.

I always get stared at for running across looking around.

All it takes is one. I hate driving in general.

As for not being able to sense a car going 90. I think that depends. If im parked and the light turns green at the intersection, for a small amount of time, you’re just at risk. Theres so many blind spots.

As a pedestrian, we are fully relying on ppl not driving onto the sidewalk, whether they lose control or otherwise.

I pause when a light turns green incase someone is gonna run the red.

I pause at cross walks when it turns green and swing my head around for oncoming traffic.

I watch people walking across the crosswalk just moseying along like they aren't in the middle of the street.

Still RIP to the victims, but dude is out and about with the potential to kill again.

That driver in the SUV is probably in therapy right now. Got a corner of their vehicle sliced off and watched two people go poof.
