I won many Madden 04 tournaments because I could stop VIck. CB Blitz was unblock able and the never know hen or if its coming. My defense was suspect to the run and Dunn could break anytime, However if Im up 14 0 they usually want to pass and game over.

Yea man, stopping Vick wasnt that hard at all.

Back during our Nintendo days my brother would just put in the Tyson code, jump right to him and beat him with no hits taken. He also could beat super contra without the code and the first person I saw beat Mario and SMB3. That nikka was a straight prodigy when it came to Nintendo games. Coldest nikka I ever seen. RIP to him:to:

Tru..some folks just got it like that.

RIP to Bro.

The funny thing is not I understand it much more than I did as a kid, it’s all about pattern recognition, timing and reflexes, but not I don’t have the timing and reflexes to process what my brain understands. My brother brother could see that shyt like Neo in the Matrix though. I remember we rented Lifeforce and he beat it that first night while I struggled to make it through the first level, and that game hard as fukk.

This made me remember.

Fast QBs and on those earlier NCAA games were unstoppable. I remember playing games where I would do qb runs every single play to win games.

And those games would be easier than playing straight up.
Tell me about it. Lil bro used to give me hell with the mobile QBs. Denard, dude from TCU(name.escapes me now) I was nearly powerless to stop him.

Steph on 2K16 was the most fun I ever had in a non NCAA football game

Speaking of, my homeboy had a community PS3 (with NCAA 14) we all ran games on. But he had an updated roster based on the 14-15 season...someone tell me why that shyt had a maxed out 99 Braxton Miller :hhh:

Yeah games back then were more so about timing and patterns, not so much about strategy.

i.e. Pac-Man

Playing with 2K16 Steph was genuinely the most fun I've ever had in a 2K game.:wow:
It was the first time you could really destroy someone with just straight up shooting.:mindblown:
Usually you get a LeBron or a Kobe and just turbo and dunk on people all game but this was different.

This shyt is regular now but back then watching someone destroy you with green light threes from the logo and stepback threes was unheard of.:dahell:
I legit had my friend confused as hell when he saw me getting B+ or higher shot feedback from half court on Hall of Fame/ Simulation :russ::russ:
