Brexit and Trump is their way of telling the Globalists that they are having enough with that bullshyt. the ppl are telling the governments that they are sick of foreign interference, sick of bullshyt, and sick of having to pick up the pieces of the actions of the government's meddling.
We are very tolerant in the west, and that is being exploited by the globalists that only care about their own interests.
Brexit and Trump was more about actual feelings rather than facts, the entire phenomenon of this "outrage against globalisation" whilst running into the hands of corporatists is absurd.
Farage & Trump are not working class regular people by any stretch of the imagination and the fact that they've managed to posture themselves as champions of the regular man is laughable
It's always the same narrative of these "evil globalists who have outsourced jobs to 3rd world countries" but then the very same people that are targeted with this message (working/middle class) will go ahead and unwittingly vote for cuts on welfare provisions (THAT THEY BENEFIT FROM) and allow the rich to hide their wealth through tax havens. For god's sake you have Steve Mnuchin and all sorts of wealthy multi-generational fukks within Trump's cabinet
If we're talking about the EU, honestly the UK benefited economically more within it than outside of it.
Also, don't get your hopes up about less foreign interferences - Trump is gunning for war with Iran, he's not as isolationist as you think and he's strongly pro-israel
If we're being honest, the anti-globalisation essentially boils down to outrage over immigration
