As a half Nigerian and half Sierra Leonean who dresses traditionally I have seen plenty of elders going to church or parties with wraps around their whole body

I won't be surprised if "African" Americans don't see this

I'm Congolese and I don't recall ever seeing a man in a wrap. That's something women wear where I'm from . Ppl forget Africa is not a monolith sometimes.
