i don't understand why they bother with continuity anyway. this is the same game where you can rip a dudes spine out and stab them in face with it in round 1, and they will be just fine for round 2. then you do a leg sweep at the end of round 2 and they dead.

I never cared about the story of any fighting game ever other than the know what the character is generally about, and "who won the last tournament" if it's a sequel. Caring about the lineage of Kung Lao, or the history of the Lin Kuei or Mishima Zaibatsu is some super pointless shyt.
