Does quitting count as a forfeit in ranked.

These salty bums are really quittin quittin out here :russ:

yup it counts

I fought a Centrion last night who was trolling me with air and ground projectiles and doing the teabag motion. first round they nearly got a flawless Victory
2nd and 3rd round I was dominating

the fakkit quit when his bar was at the edge while I had 75% health.
so satisfying making these trolls quit

I know he was infuriated especially when I was using Johnny Cage getting ready to hit em with the GOAT humiliating fatality

I need this game to have two things....

  • A tag team mode would revitalize the interest by many of my friends.
  • A fully customizable custom mode where you can essentially eliminate anything you want...no fatal blow, you can take it off.
I think fatal blows need to be taken out of the next MK game, imo enhanced moves are good enough for skilled players.

Cetrion is quite useful against spammers and jumpers. Has the weakest uppercut in the game though because its awkward and doesn't connect like other characters.

Cetrion is pure garbage. Her zoning isn’t even that strong. Scarlett and Jade are much better. Only thing that saves her is her cheap teleport.

Some things that I encountered during Kombat League:

- players who are pros at triggering Krushing Blows. I'm not talking the basic ones, I'm talking about the ones connecting with combos. It gets annoying

- Trolls. I played a couple of sets where I got a flawless victory and then they really played during the next set

- The spamming of the low poking. Yeah, it's easy to counter, but it is annoying when they keep doing it

- The mentalists. I played a couple of matches where the time ran out because these players love to play all the way from the opposite end of the screen. They wait for you to make a mistake and punish. Once you figure it out, it's a game of patience and playing smart. Not bad, but it really prolongs the matches longer than they need to be.

- Jax players are annoying because they all play the same. Not as annoying as Scorpion or Sub Zero because there aren't as many of them.

- Noob Saibots are easily beaten as are Shang Tsungs. Noob Saibot was my main throughout Season 1 and I thought I was going to lose due to them knowing how to counter and punish everything given they were also Noob. Not the case. I anticipated their moves, but it was like they were oblivious to Noob's moves when I was on the offensive.

- Quitalities. I had several players just quit. I love it because I collect a W without doing much.

- Scorpions and Sub Zeros. I got tired of playing against them. The only good thing about it is predictability. You can see Sub's slide or shoulder dash coming and punish. Also that combo starter that starts with an overhead kick.

That mid-ranked switch to scorpion is starting to really piss me off

Yup. 70% of the opponents online play with Scorpion. And most of them spam the chain swing and/or the teleport. Just block and grab every teleport and it makes quick work of them. I do hate his combo when he kicks low after swinging high. It's a bytch to block it right

I've never lost to a Noob Saibot lol. His moveset is horrible and the teleport is so predictable. The shawdow moves are easily countered. Just a bad character but people still use him

Jax is one of the most annoying characters..dudes just run at you constantly and beat you down over and over
