I see talk about how insane the last chapter is. There's not enough talk about Mileena's Chapter up until the last chapter. The reveals and call backs to previous Mortal Kombats was a gift to anyone who has been a long time fan. They aren't just shoutouts, easter eggs or simple call backs, these events are actually a part of this story.

It's also very clear that this game is going to get the same Aftermath type DLC later on, because they can't wait another 4-5 years after that post credit scene.
