then how come nobody is playing them? You still got SSF turbo 2 tourneys to this day. Outside 3 ultimate, all those early MK games are unplayable. Y’all just post the dumbest shyt I swear

And if we're being honest, saying UMK3 is playable is being VERY GENEROUS.

The first playable MK game competitively was 9. I was the best player in the world online for both Deception and Armageddon. Them games weren't playable without rules established between competitions that certain broken tactics such as infinites won't be abused

Love Mortal Kombat. It's my first love, but gameplay wise the games don't hold up historically compared to others. They turned it around from 9 forward. Now they're games that are flawed and niche but genuinely fun and good.

Before it was just for casual fans.
