Like I said, story modes in fighters are shyt and idk why ppl bother being invested in it. Simple background lore and a short narrative after beating a characters arcade is all that’s needed

It baffles me, breh. And then nikkas take these terrible stories so seriously, like they might be the next M. Bison or some shyt. A mid origin story and good mechanics/gameplay >>>>>>>>>>> anything else.
I played MK early and often because I lived within biking distance of one of the OG play test locations, but I’ve never been able to dive into the franchise lore seriously.

I personally don't watch story mode or care unless I have to beat story mode for unlocking shyt. Anything that can get skipped gets skipped. Only story I sat for was GG XRD because you got points to unlock Elphelt

The opening scene with Shang Tsung is dope as fukk. It explains so well how Shang becomes who he is. Surprised to see someone is back from MK11.
Man, the story looks amazing..... can't wait til the game drops.
I feel like Shang Tsung is going to steal the show in every scene he's in.
This shyt is almost like watching a movie, very good storyline. This might be the best MK fighting game.

I still think Shang Tsung is the main boss fight except he'll be in a different form like Shinnok was in MKX.

I don't get why people are shocked that Kronika is back. She couldn't kill Raiden because he was an elder god, and since she's a titan she is not able to be killed. Liu Kang clearly got cocky thinking he had the game figured out, but Kronika is a master at this shyt.

Continuity wise that shyt makes no sense. Depending on ending she got glassed or shredded by glass, and then in MK11 she said Shinnok can not come back from getting decapped.
