Not 1 thread about the Cavs getting spanked by over 30 on national television.
Is there any issue with fans out there that the new arena could phase out the loyal fans who can't afford those new arena prices. Since the kings are bad I can easily get tickets and see any game but wondering if it will be the same once GS gets in the SF.

Yeah im worried about the ambiance inside the new arena. I get it, Warriors fans in Oracle should technically be the same fan base in SF but I feel like the blue collar loudness and energy won't be present in the Chase Center. The name "Chase Center" itself sounds corporate and watered down but we'll see..

yea that's unavoidable... even now, the Oracle crowd is more corporate than it used to be. It gets loud still, but not as consistent.

Don't like the move just doesn't feel right just as I hate the raiders moving. RIGHT ad the teams get good they are trying to leave but I get the money he could be making and figured they weren't fond of being associated with Oakland still sad to see tho
No one wants to be in Oakland. All 3 teams want out. The city needs help.

The ownership had the intention of moving them regardless. At least they were upfront about it and told the fanbase that it was part of the plan. It will definitely take some character out of the arena atmosphere, but for ownership, the benefits for them outweigh the negatives. They are privately financing an arena in San Francisco, an international city that does not currently have an arena for major events.

Yeah for him the benifts are easy to see and easy to understand that hed want part of that market. I can see the games being far less of a fun atmosphere:yeshrug: at least the warriors will be winning while the kings arena:snoop:

u cant tell me the A`s is trying to leave as well:mjlol: of all the teams....:francis:. I dont go to the bay to often but kept hearing that oakland was slowly improving. :yeshrug:

A's had been trying to leave longer than anybody. They were trying to come to SJ but the Giants fought it based on territorial rights, and the local government also kinda fukked it up.

before that there was even talk of them going to Fremont.

that's a dam shame because oakland is a great city. ppl focus on the bad areas but there's a lot of culture, events, a fun party scene, good food and nice places as well.

yea, and there's also that "cultured" crowd that believes a professional sports team is a negative thing for a city.

I like that experiment of playing Steph and Kev extended minutes in the first quarter, it's a good way to get them both in rhythm
