If we're gonna talk about this draft lets talk about the team who fukked it up the most, Oakland.

With the 1st pick they could've taken the BEST WR in football - Calvin Johnson....the BEST RB in football - Adrian Peterson....the BEST LT in football - Joe Thomas

NOPE.....

Who's better, Joe Thomas or Joe Staley?

Browns could have had Peterson and Staley in the same draft. Instead they got Thomas and Brady Quinn?

This is the one pick you can't argue against with here. Though most people prefer the skill players the dominant LT usually goes ahead of the dominant running back.

Joe Staley was taken #28 in the same draft and he's as good as Thomas when you consider he's a better run blocker.

Who would you rather have, Peterson + Staley or Thomas + Quinn??

why are you complaining about a LT who most likely will end up in canton :mindblown:

if you want to complain then complain about last years horrible draft but they got it right drafting Thomas

:beli: Did it really take 3 pages to one star this horrendous thread.
AP is a beast but why the fukk would the browns draft an injury ridden RB behind the worst line in football:snoop: AP would've been retired by now, being fed through a tube.
And how can anyone criticize a team for drafting a franchise LT:wtf: The life expectancy of a RB is much shorter than an o-linemen. And Thomas is still the building block of the franchise. Can Oakland say the same about their pick:jawalrus:

Joe Thomas is an elite LT how the fukk did they blow the pick :wtf:

thats actually one of the few times they got it right

if u make a pick that early he has to lead your team to wins how many wins has JT leaded there team to hes just an elite talent on a shytty team
On August 22, 2011 Thomas and the Cleveland Browns agreed to a 7-year $84 million extension with almost $44 million guaranteed.[2]

dumb ass nikka he woulda been able to get out his contract this year :to:

I love AP to death but do you really think he would've been successful in Cleveland? Trust me,he would've gotten hurt. At least with JT he's still playing and the new regime can build around him.
Also the browns weren't going to let anybody outbid him. The front offices we had were shytty but ownership wasn't cheap. We were willing to spend,we just spent it wrong.

Thats not his fault tho

Dude plays one of the 3 or 4 most important positions on the field and hes elite but yall think a RB should have been taken instead :mindblown:

u seem to forget that minnisotta was just as awful as the browns b4 they got ap
Yeah they were bad also, but that browns oline was one of the worst I ever seen.
Every other play I was either :sadcam: or :sadbron: In hindsight it was definitely better for AP because Minnesota's front office>>>the browns. And it wasn't even close:to:

apparently, you haven't paid attention to where the most Dominant LT's are historically taken.

where do y'all get this understanding of where to draft players?
