I watched the 30 for 30 on the 86 Bears tonight. That episode aired in 2017, and he’s in it and all talkative, vibrant and recounting these crazy football stories and it’s sad seeing how far ALS can make you fall in just six years.

So happy he was able to live to see his induction. When I first heard the date announcement at the beginning of this year, i honestly didn’t think he would make it.

Hopefully he’s at peace now. I feel like the HOF induction is what was keeping him alive, now he can rest peacefully. Job well done
