what kind of bullshyt is this, why can't we ever support our own like everyone else do

and that has what to do with what i said.. is he falunting his baby moms in our faces.. saying she badder than ours.. talking about how is kids are better than yours.. all these people got money.. its how you carry itMos Def got like 5 baby mothers with strippers and all kinds of shyt he worse than these nikkas.
They didn't want cameos.... they could intern a crew right now. They could afford cameras and boom mics, from a few party Or hosting events....Cameos from bigger stars to grow the audience, a more professional crew, a more polished look, better props, etc. Money can be allocated for something productive but will they.
I never watched or knew about the show just gave examples. They didn't want cameos.... they could intern a crew right now. They could afford cameras and boom mics, from a few party Or hosting events....
They shouldn't have done it, that way. IMO they could have sold, a subscription service that was hosted on a site where shyt wasn't chopped into part 1 and 2 for every episode. And released like a day before the youtube...
Just my opinions
right, that's why I would gladly support the show, it wouldn't be the same show if it was on network tv. Wouldn't have many episodes and the same castI have worked in television production for over 15 years and the game has changed a lot since the earlier days. TV and music are almost the same way. I've seen the show and it's a little to grimey for any network to really want to have anything to do with it. Television is supposed to be as safe and as middle of the line as possible. For as street as the Wire was there was a lot of big names, behind the scenes that made it happen and even then it was more popular after it's original than it ever was on the air. Even if you compare Money and Violence to a show like Power, it still had the weight of 50 cent to help give it buzz. Most studios would not buy that script unless it makes heavy changes and maybe gets some more recognizable faces behind and in front of the camera realistically, that's a 2-3 year process and that's if everything goes right.
You're right a network would definitely make it less grimy and try to mainstream it. Truthfully I'm fine with them staying on Youtube. Web TV is the future anyways. I'm only wondering was there a few investors who were willing to back them on Youtube where they could continue their vision without 'selling out'. With 300,000 views per episode they have 'eyes' watching Money & Violence even in foreign countries. And like I've said they just did season 1 all by themselves and it blew up- meaning they already did what 75% of filmmakers will never even accomplish in their careers. Right now is the time to sit down with somebody or some company and get some type of deal done. Maybe Raef has to give in a tad bit in a certain area, maybe not.. I know they're about spreading a message but you might not get this opportunity ever again. And to now put your show in the hands of fans-hood cats with no dough is highly questionable imo. At worst do another season, a much shorter season, and do a lot of product placement and charge cats. What was that sh*t they was wearing and the clothing shop they hit up towards the end of the season?.. that was product placement right there. That's the perfect route for themnikkaz would cry bout product placement also
This is no way comparable to jay z. Stop it bruhfukked up part is that Black people only pocket watch other Black people's pockets, this is exactly why I was looking sideways at nikkas in the Tidal thread doing the exact same shyt to Jay.
Looking over this.. they need to link up with a investor or companyLink to the donation page: http://www.seedandspark.com/studio/money-violence
