But you don't know that. Spike Lee was asking for donations for his last movie too, you gonna ask why his "friends" didn't give him money? French had already said his funeral was sorted but donations don't mean someone is broke but it's a way of supporters or fans to contribute

First off you can't compare making a movie to someone dying. And first time I heard about the go fund me shyt Spike Lee already said his friends were gonna help him, so there was no reason to ask why they weren't. He said on the Breakfast Club his celebrity friends would pitch in.

That's why it was confusing and frustrating why all these millionaires who claimed they loved him was saying RIP and not helping. French cleared it up a day later. My problem is never those asking for help in these situations.
