I don't hate this. I don't.

But for me it depends on who wins the gauntlet match. I say let Swerve carve up the dragon quick early in the show and then give him the mic and let him say he'll be ringside for the main event, scouting all the hitters coming for his head. Let him go back and forth from commentary to getting up close at the apron. Let him and Nana compare notes if you will live during the match. This way, Swerve can be on in multiple segments and the both matter.
I get where you at, and I don't disagree there either.

I think the problem I have is, they are going to end the show with the challenger just discovered. Whereas if you have Swerve on last, you can use the last segment on your show to start pushing the match instead of only telling them what it's going to be the minute the show goes off-air.

Having the known quantity in the champion come out at the end means you can start sowing your seeds with the challenger the whole match with the dinosaur. If we're going face v face, then you can have the challenger prevent Wayne/Cage from trying to run interference on some babyface 'I don't fukk with that sucka shyt' and then you start building some respect. Or, if they're the heel, then you have them be the interference Swerve needs to overcome so there can be seething at the end of the show.

Khan is too comfortable just having matches happen without giving them some reason to happen. It would have taken a minute of changing the sequencing to at least be able to get something out of this match ythey're building.
