this is gonna sound stupid.
But... AEW booking needs someone on the committee whose job it is JUST to have common sense.
They screen all intended storyline segments with a basic 'would a sane person do this?'
Then bush everything that can't pass a basic bit of logical scrutiny.

It would improve the booking in this company at least 2x overnight if they just hired a nikka to look at the promo scripts and say 'you buggin rn' when appropriate.
