I feel like gimmicks like The Mamalukes and Big Vito kinda ruined that type of gimmick in the modern era :unimpressed: gimmick should be taken seriously but its not. I'm still peeved that the FBI didn't get a further push that they should have

It didn’t help that Undertaker regularly squashed FBI

Might be an unpopular opinion, but i actually dont think the Vinnie Vegas gimmick isn't bad, the giant mobster muscle type dude cod work if done right lol
I remember him as that gimmick in the WCW then seeing him pop up months later in the WWF/E as Diesel and Shawn Michaels bodyguard.

I was like that’s Vinnie Vegas from WCW.

Back when guys use to regularly go between promotions.

I remember when Vader, Mankind (Cactus Jack in WCW), Steve Austin pre Stone Cold gimmick when he still had the ringmaster gimmick, Diesel, and others thinking WWF has got a bunch of old sacked WCW guys.

From about late 92 to late 97 WCW had a far superior product in my opinion. Those new generation guys had much better work rates but I preferred larger than life characters and better quality storylines. It wasn’t until the Montreal Screwjob and the creation of the Mr. McMahon character and his feud with the growing star Stone Cold did I even start back watching WWF/E programming.
