This was ... a good episode of Raw

Lowkey raw been watchable the past few weeks but it being 3 hours can still be a drag. Especially if they going to random cities and crowd isn't hyped.

Yeap... I recently saw a shoot interview with Slick. He says it was his idea because he had overheard that Vince & co. were considering letting One Man Gang go, didn't like his character, etc... Slick suggested they repackage OMG and give him a chance with a new gimmick. he had just seen Coming to America so "Akeem" was the name he thought of, and he thought a White man who thinks he's a Black African would be hilarious. Also says he thought eventually Akeem would work as a babyface too but he was never turned.
