Nobody in Kentucky playing over Bamba, he's a 5 star, 96 ESPN grade, 3rd in ESPN 100, projected one and done top 5 pick, NBA record 7'8 wingspan. shyt, Kentucky would have game him the opportunity to play with Nick Richards another NYC prospect (93 ESPN grade, 16th ESPN 100, projected lottery pick) in that frontcourt. Kentucky is a historical basketball powerhouse and the go-to for one and dones. To me personally choosing Texas over Kentucky and Duke is odd.

Duke overall made the most sense in terms of playing time, education, and prestige. Texas definitely 2nd, and UK a distant 3rd.

None of them nikkas taking Bamba's minutes lol. Knox is a 3/4, Richards and him can be the NYC twin towers and Richards has worked on a 15 footer, Bamba is a true 5 and would anchor that defense. Obviously, Coach Cal wasn't worried about that shyt. This argument is kinda pointless anyway, normally an elite prospect would go Kentucky or Duke over Texas, Texas was a distant third in the recruitment process until the end. Greer Love influenced his decision to head to Texas, this is kinda what this is all about.
