kentucky has about 1000 bigs, it's not surprising that he chose not to go there. I was suprised he didn't choose duke, but it's not like he chose to go to st john's or some shyt. Texas is a legit school with a player's coach and a good freshman PG coming in in matt coleman. and all we're seeing is this dude's side of the story. you think mo is gonna let his mom just be sick? Nobody in Kentucky playing over Bamba, he's a 5 star, 96 ESPN grade, 3rd in ESPN 100, projected one and done top 5 pick, NBA record 7'8 wingspan, compared to Patrick Ewing and Marcus Camby. shyt, Kentucky would have gave him the opportunity to play with Nick Richards another NYC prospect (93 ESPN grade, 16th ESPN 100, projected lottery pick) in that frontcourt. Kentucky is a historical basketball powerhouse and the go-to for one and dones. To me personally choosing Texas over Kentucky and Duke is odd.
Yeah, him and his brother have the same mom. They have different last names because his brother has his moms last name (Johnson). Son got his degree in those 6 years, from what he's saying in the video shyt hasn't been easy and he's been on "the block", but that's what family does put loved ones in positions of power, in positions to eat, obviously his brother has a degree to be an agent.
