He wasn’t that bad. He wasn’t perfect, but all he was trying to do was make sure his kids were grew up right. I think he was more realistic and relatable than other TV dads

I’m with you here. I mean how many of these dudes abandon their children and start a new life.

Moesha was a trash ass kid, friend, sister and person....I will stand stand for the disrespect her father is taking. He did the best he could do...But at least he had a bad wife. And they had to force ray weather into it...They know damn well they could of went with the Dorian needs a steady male figure in his life storyline.

I agree…Moesha was a terrible person.

Yeah that shyt was messed up how they did Frank…went from making a big mistake (affair and son) to just being a horrible father overall.

Yo that storyline with ray j being franks son was fukked up!!!
:pachaha: and I like dre on blackish :manny: he grew up in the hood so he's a bit hard on his kids

See I actually disagree on Dre. I think him and Bo are soft as fukk with their kids.

All that back talk from Zoey, Jack, Diane and Junior would not stand in my house.

James Evans, Uncle Phil or even Cosby would never let their kids pop off at the mouth like that. Even grown azz Sondra with a husband and two kids shows more respect to Cliff and Claire than Dre/Bo's kids show to them.

Gen X raising these Zoomers like friends.

He wasn't bad at all, Frank could be a little too strict at times but he allowed them to have a great lifestyle and a very active social life. The problem is that Mo like a lot of kids always want to test the boundaries instead of being grateful that they have a solid family structure.

No it's still a great show, it's just that Moesha the character is getting the same treatment Laura from Family Matters is getting. People realize that Laura and Moesha were ungrateful brats that treated people poorly when they didn't get their way.

This 100%.

Moesha and Laura were both smart ladies but they were HABITUAL line crossers....ESPECIALLY Moesha.

Frank was a good dad. Not too strict but not a pushover either. Go to school, stay out of trouble etc., and Frank wouldn't give you any problems. Mo just had to do extra shyt all the damn time and then complained about getting in trouble.

Honestly felt like they did the Frank/Ray J storyline to justify all the bullshyt Mo was up to. We've seen that in TV shows where teens hold their parents to this unrealistic standard while being fuccbois themselves and then act all hurt when their parents are human. Then of course they use that to justify acting out and breaking rules.

Never knew that, I guarantee you if this outside child grew up to be an NBA or NFL superstar, they would immediately claim him, saying they never knew, we can make up for lost time, etc.

What is it about Baby Boomers and doing that shyt. Think a few pro athletes have had that happen where daddy goes away early and then magically comes back when the hard part of raising a child is over....comes back when Lil Man is a 5-star recruit and wants to be all up in shyt like he was their the whole time.

High key - y’all are right...Moesha was bunk.

Thing is - she is a teenage girl, and they tend to be bunk. You expect that from Jump.
Frank, however, is a trying to be bougie boxfade-ass nicca - and niccas like that tend to be tried,
even by their bunk daughters. I mean - Hakeem just rolls up in his kitchen all the time like it’s his
because he know Frank ain’t gonna check him. Bet he won’t try that chit with Uncle Phil.
