Word.I guess it's not cool for a Mobb fan to say this, but yeah. OG ate their food, I was just happy hearing that beat 2 more minutes longer and hearing the chorus run back.

glad you like it. Mobb verses on "QB meets southside" are kinda short so it's more an onyx track to me. That's why I didn't put it in.I'd probably try to slide "QB meets Southside" in there around "Pile Raps", but other than that this is the album I'd want.
First off I disgusted at your disrespect of Spread Love and I'm Going OutMultiple bootlegs and the reviewer copy of Murda Muzik leaked in the beginning of 1999.
P was like
To Loud Records because he felt the leaking was their fault.
But Mobb Deep wanted to go platinum so they had to record new songs so the fans would still buy the album
andwent back in the studio and recorded 5 new songs:
Spread Love
I'm Going Out (featuring Lil' Cease)
Can't fukk Wit (featuring Raekwon)
It's Mine (featuring Nas)
Quiet Storm (Remix) (featuring Lil' Kim)
These songs replaced earlier recorded tracks. I personally always skip Can't fukk With because I don't feel the beat. Also Spread Love and Going Out can be classified as filler tracks in my opinion.
So the end product wasn't how Murda Muzik could've been. But let's change that and make this a 5 Mic Album
These are all the tracks eligible to be on Murda Muzik (comment if I forgot one):

First off I disgusted at your disrespect of Spread Love and I'm Going Out
Next off I'm taking out Let A Ho Be A Ho (garbage) and Where Ya From (meh).
Tracklist would be
Streets Raised Me
What's Ya Poison
Spread Love
3 From NYC
I'm Going Out
Allustrious
Adrenaline
Nobody Likes Me
White Lines
Where Ya Heart At
Thrill Me
Thug Muzik
The Realest
Aight Then
Reach (did this come as part of the Murda Muzik sessions?)
Left off Perfect Plot as I have worn that track out like a pair of old kicks. As much as I love Feel My Gat Blow I wouldn't know where to put it.
Honestly , I feel that way about The Realest. After G Rap's classic first verse, Hav & P don't come as lyrical & the track lacks but still a classic
where da links up though?
Album is kind of weird to me you go from
Infamous
Hell on earth
Then murda muzik leaves you like
Not doing this today.Intro
Streets Raised Me (featuring Big Noyd and Chinky)
What's Ya Poison (featuring Cormega)
Spread Love
Let a Ho Be a Ho
Allustrious
Adrenaline
Quiet Storm (retail
Where Ya Heart At

Perfect Plot (featuring Big Noyd)
Pile Raps = also called Power Rap
Nobody Likes Me
Shiesty (featuring Big Noyd)
Gotta keep let a ho be a ho to switch things up a bit. That album there is as good as Infamous/HOE. Only Cacs who fetishize how evil HOE sounds would disagree.
this is what my tracklisting would be for Murda Muzik to be a classic to me...
since the promo was 17 tracks and the retail was 19, i split the difference and settled on 18 tracks.
1. Intro
2. Allustrious
3. What's Ya Poison (Feat Cormega)
4. Mobb Comin' Thru (Feat Big Noyd)
5. White Lines (O.G. Version with P talking between verses)
6. Adrenaline
7. Murda Muzik
8. Pyramid Points (Feat Big Noyd)
9. Feel My Gat Blow
10. Where Ya From? (Feat Eightball)
11. The Realest (Feat Kool G. Rap)
12. Thrill Me (Feat Big Noyd)
13. Spread Love
14. Nobody Likes Me (Feat Big Noyd)
15. USA/Street Kingz (Feat Nas)
16. Where Ya Heart At?
17. 3 From NYC (Feat Big Noyd)
18. It's Mine (Feat Nas)
not sure about the sequencing but I tried to keep it dark and grimy as fukk at the beginning and have it lighten up by the end on some "we made it shyt" especially with the theme and video of "It's Mine."
keep in mind that I have a fondness for "Mobb Comin' Thru", "White Lines (O.G. Version), "Street Kingz" and "Pyramid Points" after hearing them on mixtapes for so long since the album kept getting pushed back after it got bootlegged...
That can't fukk wit beat goes pretty hard it grew on me prodigy spits a dope verse too. I think the retails a classic too but it's not 5/5 like the first two not including juvenile hell.Multiple bootlegs and the reviewer copy of Murda Muzik leaked in the beginning of 1999.

Damn so there's the 19 track retail, the 4.5 mic album The Source reviewed, and then another bootleg version too?Just found this while going through some old source magazines. It's an article on murda muzik tracklists, bootlegging, etc
Nice read.
