there should be a statute of limitations on samples lol

I'm pretty sure Havoc doesn't want to risk a law suit.

"He has the right"....:childplease:

He has the right to take several seats

Amazing research that will lead to a lawsuit
This isn’t my area of law, but I’ve done some bare bones research on this just out of interest, years ago.
Number one - there is absolutely a statute of limitations that has long since run on all the album/singles sales of the past 20 or so years. That being said, it has not run on sales/streaming of the past few years and the future. So worst possible outcome, the song could be removed from Spotify/YouTube etc. Any unsold physical copies of Hell on Earth with the song would be pulled.

That being said, as I recall, the odds of that occurring are essentially zero because in order to win in this type of lawsuit you have to prove that the sample is recognizable. That’s why we haven’t seen any lawsuits related to Shook Ones Pt 2 or Survival of The Fittest and those songs are still up on streaming services, even though the samples were discovered years ago. Because Hav modified the hell out of those samples and rendered them unrecognizable for decades, there is no case.
