Looking back on it had there not been any internal friction this could have been a great setup for The Firm album:

- The original team gets introduced on It was written....also u had the Mobb collab
- We get another glimpse via The Promise off Foxy's album
- Hell On Earth drops with Nas returning the favor (an added bonus would be if Crime Connection w/ Mega was on the album)
- follow that up wit The War Report which in a sense is a lineage of the affiliation (also if Thugs Calm Down could've gotten clear making it another piece)

Now if the original line-up had stayed together and came wit the production of: Havoc, LES, Dr. Dre, Trackmasters, RZA, (hell get the Hitmen too), with appearances from the Mobb, CNN, Tragedy, Raekwon, Method Man Introduce Nature and make it cinematic ala Cuban Linx

Than that would have been the icing on the cake:banderas:

The only thing that could have saved the Firm album was wall to wall Havoc production :wow:
That project was doomed though :francis:

@mobbinfms @TheDarceKnight what was this recorded for I kno this was round that time I'm thinking if not for Hell On Earth than for the Ill Na Na album

It's says mega feat mobb and foxy but he jus on the hook

:ohhh:
I think that's my first time hearing that. :wow:
I doubt that's a Hav beat.
And P used that verse on trials of Love off HNIC. I googled the song and it dropped in 99 on a Cutmaster C tape. I bet it was recorded during the Murda Muzik sessions.

Classic album

Shame that Prodigy's voice pretty much changed after HNIC

That and his delivery, if he were to spit the last verse in Give it Up Fast today, he would butcher the hell out of it and bring shame to it.

"Hopped out the Lexus/holding my necklace/bent off some next shyt/gasoline with a kerosine twist"

He wouldn't be able to spit that the same anymore

Arguably, I think that was his most vicious verse on the whole album

yeah that was the tracklist that got out to magazines for review.

I always thought Power Raps was just a typo on the QB's Finest album. On the song he definitely says "pile raps inside my skull cap like a brick stack". The way he says it just kinda sounds like power, so I've always thought someone just wrote it down wrong and I have always called the song Pile Raps.

shyt was fire.

The other tracklist I've seen floating around is
1. Murda Muzik
2. Deer Park Feat Cormega (titled What's Your Poison on retail)
3. Feel My Gat Blow
4. Hoes Gonna Be A Hoe
5. Thrill Me
6. Alllustrious
7. Where You From Feat Eightball
8. White Lines (version on retail)
9. Where Ya Heart At?
10. You fukkin' Wit Feat Big Noyd (also known as 3 From NYC with the al green sample)
11. Thug Muzik
12. The Realest shyt Feat Kool G Rap
13. This One
14. That True shyt (titled Streets Raised Me on retail)

I have both this version and the other one with that chick drop "this is for promotional use only..." All of them dope, but a mixture would have been perfect!
