fukk the devilish UFC. The fans want Jon Jones to retire with a loss on his record in the worst way.

If he beats Tom then they will say he needs to fight the next cac.

Jon don’t need the money.

Jon would be a fool to not duck Tom. Tom has EVERYTHING to gain here. Biggest pay day, Massive legacy boost if he wins, etc. Tom losses, oh well he’s young he lost to the goat, he can learn from this, won’t even be considered a stain on his resume, etc. Jon knows he prolly has one BIG payday left. No way he should just take the fight cause Tom up next. fukk Tom it’s about getting that loot! Throw the money Jon wants and he’ll gladly dismantle Tom.

don’t really follow ufc anymore and this is something I’ve been wondering about. Generally speaking I doubt he’s ducking anyone - jones has always been great at understanding and exploiting fighters weaknesses. Unless this guy is a world class/elite wrestler, jones will probably kick his kneecaps inwards, take him down and submit him.

I think the word "duck" is too strong of a word to use here.

He is definitely avoiding Tom though and holding out for an easier fight with a bigger payday. Now that Pereira lost his last fight, the Tom fight might be the next best option - either that or he should vacate his belt and retire.

He will likely fight Tom next, but will basically hold the organization to ransom for it. They gonna have to cut one of the biggest checks in UFC history.

Its a Mayweather/Pacquio situation where Jon isn't afraid of Tom, but he wants fair money for the risk he is taking.
no, lol
2 completely differrent situations
mayweather just asked that man to take random drug testing because he believed he was cheating. Floyd offered to take the same testing and Pacquaio avoided it until he no longer had a choice. That fight needed to happen for both their legacies.

Jon is probbaly the undisputed goat with or without Tom. He doesnt need the fight. People are pushing for it, hoping he will lose on his way out to a guy who is younger, and isnt even apart of his era. Jone wants one last gigantic pay day to even entertain it. Plus Tom and his fans annoy him lol

Jones is ducking just off the reasons he gave why he didnt want to fight him. Hearing him have to address it over and over gave second hand embarrassment. Saying he is younger or he is bigger while wanting to be seen as the champ of that division is wild.

He def a legend and top 5 of the sport but ran thru the older pride era legends and got a couple controversial decisions with the new era guys. It fukked up our chances of seeing him and ngannou champ vs champ instead of bulking for years while calling out a smaller adesanya non stop and now alex periera.

He wanted the two division accolades without the risks. Gane never fought a wrestler and just got taken down and controlled by an injured ngannou who isnt a wrestler at all no wonder jones felt comfortable taking that fight for a vacated belt. Stipe had been put to sleep in his last fight and had been a firefighter exclusively for 3 years before the jones fight. Good match up style wise tho but with the injuries and time off kinda messed that one up.

This whole build up has made the fight bigger and i can see him winning the fight so this might end up working out for him with a higher purse, stakes being higher and one off fights being more palatable if he would just knock off a legit threat at hw first
