Not gonna lie I didn't have high expectations from the city of Atlanta, but you guys have really done everything right. I feel like every team has followed Seattle's blueprint on starting a franchise and the league is in a much better place. Strong ownership groups, let the fans be involved, bring in young talent vs the old MLS mantra of bringing in aged superstars.

I really hope North Carolina (Charlotte) gets a team. It would bring an instant rivalry for you guys. North Carolina is also soccer crazy.

Football is more exciting than baseball (moving the stadium to fukking Cobb didn't help) and the Hawks don't put out a consistently good product. Tickets to watch ATL United are also more accessible than watching an NBA game. You have to remember also there is an aura of that "new" team still. A lot of people are going to games that have never seen a game of football in their lives.
