Ted Leonsis who’s on the NBA media board keeps boasting how “we own our own network (NBC Sports Washington)”.
I expect more and more owners going this route
Pretty much, only the teams that own their RSNs will likely keep them until it’s no longer viable. This isn’t great news for the owners for a financial standpoint, but great for fans as the pre-RSN era of watching local team may be back.
