Microsoft is shutting down Mixer and partnering with Facebook Gaming
Ninja, Shroud, and other top Mixer streamers are now free to stream on Twitch again
Facebook Gaming/Streaming is making moves
Told you man. We talked about it in another thread. If anyone is in a position to compete with Twitch or YouTube, it’s Facebook. Their user base is too strong. They’ve been pushing original content and work towards streamlining their video content overall. The community aspect of Facebook is a huge plus and organic reach is going to be easier on Facebook for a day one streamer than on YouTube or Twitch. Twitch is still the top for game streamers but if Facebook leverages their base properly they could be a serious competitor.

That's ok. I'm thinking about how this impacts streaming beyond just gaming. Facebook "Gaming"/Streaming is going to be hit with black people, just wait. There are rumors that ninja and shroud both got offered double on their contracts and still declined
This is a nonsensical move for MS, they can easily stem the losses from Mixer while awaiting the new console. I don’t get it...
